John Breaux Sr.

1945 - 2022

John Robert Breaux, Sr. born on December 8, 1945 in Crowley, LA, passed away on November 28, 2022 at the age of 76. He was a resident of St. Amant, LA and member of the Local 198. John proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a welder by trade and worked all over the U.S. He was also a talented saxophone player that played with several bands. His family was his pride and joy. He enjoyed his time spent with family and friends and was always the jokester in the room making everyone laugh. He could strike up a conversation with anyone, especially if they shared his interest in cars or music. John is survived by his wife of 55 years, Adele Oubre Breaux; sons, John "Rob" Breaux, Jr. and partner, Tracy Beeman, Adrien Breaux and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, John Breaux III and wife, Savannah, Zachary Breaux and partner, Alyx Chenier, Cameron Breaux and partner, Adriana Guice, Nathan Breaux; great-grandsons, Zayn Breaux and Dakoda Benoit; sister-in-law, Cheryl Breaux, as well as a host of extended family and friends. John is preceded in death by his parents, John Lynic and Grace Massey Breaux; brother, Paul Breaux.
