Lucas Cessac

A Memorial Mass celebrating the life of Lucas Cessac, 52, of Abbeville, LA will be conducted on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at St. James Church in Esther, LA at 4:30 p.m. The Memorial Services will continue at 5:30 p.m. at Palmetto State Park Pavilion 3. Lucas was born September 23, 1963 to the late Charles Robert and Ethel White Cessac in Abbeville, LA. Mr. Cessac passed away on the morning of March 18, 2016 at his residence. After completing High School, Lucas joined the Army National Guard and service his country proudly for six years at Fort Polk. He will always be remembered by his family as a very kind and caring person and willing to help in any way possible. Lucas loved to travel and attend concerts. He travels took him to the beautiful West Coast and to Wyoming along with other destinations. Music and singing was his passion. He also enjoyed working in his yard and attending to his garden. On Sunday's time with the family was always a priority. His sense of humor will be greatly missed. Those left to mourn the passing of Lucas Cessac are one son Gavin (Maegan) Cessac of Abbeville, LA; mother Ethel White Cessac of Abbeville, LA; one brother Justin Cessac of Miami, FL; nieces and nephews Shalee Cessac, Charley Cessac and Collin Cessac and grandchildren Braxtin Cessac, Taelynn Sellers, Bryson Sellers and Camden Thibodeaux and former wife of 26 years Pamela Davidson He also leaves foot prints on the hearts of numerous family and friends. He now rejoins in his heavenly home with his father Charles Robert Cessac; brother Charles Anthony "Chuck" Cessac; paternal grandparents Lilly and Andrew Cessac and maternal grandparents Mancel and Esther Broussard White.
