Private family only funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire for Ludrine Antoine Leger, 83, who died Saturday, August 14, 2021 at his residence in Mire, LA. Interment will be in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Mire, LA. The Very Rev. Msgr. Russell Harrington, Pastor of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Ludrine was owner of Ludrine Plumbing Inc. since 1974. He was a Master Plumber and member Homebuilders Association. Survivors include his son, Brent A. Leger and Spouse Caunelia Leger, two granddaughters, Britney Leger Bergeron and spouse William Bergeron, Alyssa Leger and fiancé Casey Curet, two great-grandchildren, Cole Bergeron, Avery Bergeron, three siblings, Tommy Leger and spouse Barbara Leger, Glen Joseph Leger and spouse Pam Leger, Margaret Leger Hebert and spouse Damian Hebert. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Bearb Leger, father, Ernest "Nig" Leger, mother, Claudette Richard Leger. Pallbearers will be Brent A. Leger, William Bergeron, Casey Curet, Jimmy Bearb, Tommy Leger, Joe Leger. Brent would like to thank Mr. Ludrine's caregivers for there love and dedication, Joanne Forbes, Courtney Forbes.
