Marie Hollier Obituary

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at David Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA at 2:00PM. Marie Robin Hollier, passed away 10/3/21 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was 91 years old, but ran circles around all four of her children until she just couldn't run anymore. She loved and was greatly loved by everyone she ever met in her life because she had no capacity to feel anything but love. At the time of her death, she was a beloved resident of Pelican Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Maurice where she enriched the lives of staff and residents alike. Marie Hollier lived a long, full, happy life surrounded by 5 generations of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Marie Robin Hollier was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Therese Robin, her husband Pierre Hollier, her sisters Alena Wheaton and Agnes Swain, her brothers Raymond and Alan Robin, her daughter-in-law, JoAnn Hollier, and her great grandson, Casey Carret. She is survived by her children Gary Hollier, Karen Menard, Cheryl Estrada, and Lana Wiggins, her sons-in-law, Tom Wiggins, Carson Menard, and Raul Estrada, her grandchildren Chris Hollier and his wife Laura Richard Hollier, Tommy Wiggins and his wife Meredith Beck-Wiggins, Theresa Wiggins, Ryan Niccolini, Celia Niccolini, Danny Savoie, Tony Estrada and his wife Hillary Estrada, Nick LoBianco and his wife Lauren LoBianco, her great grandchildren Maci McEvoy and her husband Joseph McEvoy, Nate Wiggins, Destini Richard, Bayli Hollier, Christopher Hollier II, Roxanna Estrada, Andre Estrada, Gianni Niccolini, Sophie Niccolini and her great-great grandchildren Luke Miller and Luna Claire McEvoy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, she asked for donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to honor Luna Claire McEvoy. To help keep the community safe we will honor the August 01, 2021, Louisiana Mandates, all families and their guests are required to wear a face covering while at the funeral home and church. I remember going with you Karen to your mom´s house when we lived in the apartment. She would wash our clothes and fix us lunch. She was such a kind person. She never fussed and said go wash ya´ll own clothes ! She had a very sweet spirit. I loved ya´ll mom.
