Peter Douglas Broussard

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church for Peter Douglas Broussard, 68, who died May 20, 2017 in Carencro, Louisiana. Services will be conducted by Reverend F. Hampton Davis III. Interment will take place at a later time in the Monsignor W. J. Teurlings Memorial Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Carole Dugas Broussard of Carencro, Louisiana; daughter, Terri Broussard (Lemuel) Williams of Austin, Texas; son, Brent Broussard; sister, Joycelyn (James) Artis of Oberlin, Louisiana; father- and mother-in-law, Alton (Novella) Dugas; three brothers-in-law, Alton Dugas Jr., Allison (Jackie) Dugas, Dwight (Shelly) Dugas, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Peter was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Ledet Broussard; father, Doughty Broussard; sister, Nancy Broussard; brothers, Marshall Broussard and Kenneth Broussard. The family requests that visitation be observed on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Syrie Funeral Home from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
