Grady, David and your siblings, my condolences. What a fun and happy guy he was to me; and most definitely to many others. I always loved him expressing his opinion on politics and religion to me. It was not only informative but entertaining. Back several years when he drove and come to Lake Charles he and I would go have lunch. Several years back I was going through some old Lake Charles High School year books and I saw Sammy in his tennis outfit as he played on the tennis team. I showed it to him and he told me a few stories of his tennis talents. He won every match!!! He will be missed & now he has rejoined Fay for eternity. You all had fantastic parents.

Sammy loved his family deeply and understood the importance of providing for them which he did. That made him very proud. He was funny, opinionated but always full of love for us - his extended family. It is incredible how he was so similar to my father and his brothers. His mannerisms, humor and love for family (and Lebanese food) was something they all shared. My father and his brothers are all gone too. My heart is with all of you as I know firsthand what the loss feels like. On the positive side, he is now resting right next to your beautiful mother. Now, his children can continue his legacy and I know you will.
