Bobby Leopard

Bobby James Leopard, 80, of Covington, passed away on Friday, August 15 at Magnolia Creek Nursing home. He was a factory worker and was retired from Delfield. Bobby was the son of the late Richard Andrew and Velma Lee Ellis Leopard of Mississippi. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy Ann Leopard; three sisters and six brothers. He is survived by his three children, Deborah Ann (Randy) Armstrong, James Dale (Heather) Leopard and Donald Gene (Gene Sneed) Leopard and three brothers, Sammy Lepard, Donald Randal Leopard and Ronnie Leopard. Bobby loved his children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters. His first love, however, was Jesus and he loved his home church, Poplar Grove Assembly of God Church and he never met a stranger. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Drummonds. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
