Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Carol Anne Sosebee, 78, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m., at Coleman Funeral Home. Carol was born on March 31, 1947 in Ruleville, MS to Leola and Hersie Smith. She loved her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, God, and Newk's sweet tea. Left to cherish Carol's memory is her daughter, Lia McKay (Bryan) of Olive Branch, MS; son, Nicklaus Sosebee (Brooke) of Senatobia, MS; granddaughters, Cayla Wiley (Sam Smothers) of Byhalia, MS, Cari Barefoot (Dalton) of Pope, MS, Sadie Sosebee of Senatobia, and Kaylin McKay of Grenada, MS; grandsons, Hunter Sosebee of Senatobia and Caleb McKay of Grenada; great-granddaughters, Brinley and Ellie Barefoot of Pope; great-grandson, Luke Smothers of Byhalia; and sister, Dixie Ball of Jackson, MS. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Leola Wiggs Smith and Hersie Neil Smith; son, David Krueger; and five brothers.
