Charles Fleming

Charles Fleming, 71, of Covington, passed away on Saturday, October 11 surrounded by his family. Charles was a retired over the road truck driver having retired from Roadway after 30 years of service. He often spoke fondly of his brotherhood of Roadway drivers. Family meant everything to him. He always called his daughters "his girls" and adored his grandkids and great grandkids and spoiled them any time he could. With all his love came his incredible sense of humor that his family relished. He is survived by his three daughters, Heather (Chad) Reynolds, Hilliary (Roger) Jones and Haley (Ben) England, all of Covington; one sister, Donna King of Covington; one brother, Kevin Fleming of Senatobia, MS; seven grandchildren, Anna Claire (Justin) Folk, Callie (John Hayden) Goforth, Addyson Reynolds, Gage Griffin, Gunner Jones, Hayes England and Hudson England and six great grandchildren, Haiden Bowers, Renny Kate Folk, Lucy Folk, John Brooks Bowers, Parker England and Jaxon McLillie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Charles and Martha Gordon Fleming; his wife, Diane Fleming and one grandchild, Taylor Fleming. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Covington Memorial Gardens.
