Connie Renee Scott Ward

Conne "Renee" Scott Ward, age 59, of Manila, formerly of Gosnell, passed from this life Friday, May 23, 2025, at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. Daughter of the late Bobby and Betty Morgan Scott, she was born and raised in Manila and was a 1983 graduate of Manila High School. Renee was the first female member of the Manila FFA chapter. She worked as a veterinary assistant for Dr. Cato and was a member of the Manila First Baptist Church. Renee loved her animals, going on cruises, and spending time with her grandsons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Ward, and a stepdaughter, Kristen Ward. Survivors include: 1 daughter, Morgan Sharp (Steve) of Manila 1 brother, Bobby Dean Scott (Sharon) of Blytheville 4 grandchildren, Steve Sharp, Hunter Sharp, Timothy Sharp, and Sam Dean Sharp 1 niece, Stacy Scott Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Bro. Ryan Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers will be Steve Sharp, Timothy Sharp, Tony Crowell, Sonny Ray Dill, Jackie Hill, and Tony Emmert. Honorary pallbearers include the Manila High School class of 1983. The family will receive visitors Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
