Corine Hamilton Shrable

Corine Hamilton Shrable, age 87 of Manila, passed from this life Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born in Swifton, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Sallie Slayton Gray, was a graduate of Manila High School, and had lived most of her life in the Manila area. She was the former owner/operator of the Circle Inn Restaurant and later Hamilton's Restaurant before working several years for Manila Public Schools. Corine also took great satisfaction working as a babysitter and caring for others. She was a woman of great faith and was a longtime member of the Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Manila. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Franklin Hamilton; her second husband, Jackie Shrable; 3 sons, Danny Hamilton, Robert Hamilton, and Gary Hamilton; 3 brothers and a sister. Survivors include 3 grandsons; Michael Hamilton (Chrystal) of Trumann Jeff Hamilton (Miranda) of Manila Frank Hamilton (Jonna) of Manila 1 granddaughter, Danielle Hamilton (Terry Nicholson) of McEwen, Tennessee. She also leaves 5 loving great-grandchildren and 1 sister Joann Bowman of St. Joseph, Michigan Funeral service will be 2:00 P. M. Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Manila with Rev. Troy Burrow officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila. The family will receive visitors Saturday from 12:30 until service time at the church.
