Crista Allman

Crista Dyanne Allman, age 25 of Burlison, Tennessee, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 21, 2025. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Dyanne Alsbrook and Dana Speck, her grandparents, Johnny and Linda Allman, and by her cousin, Hunter Kimbrough. Crista is survived by her parents, Lisa Alsbrook Speck and Timothy Speck and Jerry Allman; sisters, Ashley Allman, Alexis Speck, and Carly Speck Johnson; nieces and nephew, Abigail, Aurora, and Ayden Johnson; her grandparents, James Carlton Alsbrook, William and Nancy Smith, and Tom Speck; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and an abundance of friends. Crista was a unique and special young woman who was dearly loved by her family and friends to whom she was fiercely loyal. She was thoughtful and imaginative with a sharp sense of humor and talent for sarcasm. To those who knew her, Crista was funny and quick-witted yet deep and compassionate to those in need. Children were drawn to her and loved her because she made them feel at ease. She was quick to step in and help at any opportunity. She recently developed a talent for gardening and was particularly good at making her Dad's raspberries and blackberries disappear. She loved to wear fun clothes, hair, and makeup. Crista derived great joy from sharing her talent for cooking and baking with others. She also enjoyed journaling and crafting. Crista was one of a kind and will be sorely missed by those of us who had the privilege of knowing her. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 27 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in the Randolph Cemetery.
