Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Dana Garner Dodd, 68, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m., all at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch. Rev. Warren Barron of LaBelle Haven Baptist Church will officiate. Dana was born on May 9, 1957, in Millington, TN. She worked for FedEx for 35 years as a Senior Business Transaction Specialist. While at FedEx, she also worked for some time as an auditor for the feeder aircraft group, which gave her the opportunity to travel. She was a member of Labelle Haven Baptist Church. Dana was also a member of 662 Rocks on Facebook and adored painting rocks and leaving them around in various places to see where they would end up. Dana was a natural at organization. She was also quick-witted, had a great sense of humor, and loved to spread joy in whatever ways she could. Dana was a skilled baker and enjoyed baking and decorating sugar cookies seasonally to pass them out to different people, especially around Christmas. At one point, she enjoyed spending time outside gardening and tending to her flowers. She and her husband, Steve, fostered dogs for the Tunica Humane Society and have fostered 115 total. She especially loved camping with Steve, starting out in tents and ultimately landing in an RV. Dana will be missed by so many who had the joy of knowing her. Dana was preceded in death by her father, Troy McCoy. Dana is survived by her husband, Steve Dodd of Olive Branch; mother, Gladys Fleming of Olive Branch; daughter, Mandy Skelly (Jeremy) of Bothell, WA; sister, Tammy Cox (Bubba) of Destin, FL; brother, Randall McCoy (Travon) of Memphis, TN, and Gary Fleming (Barbara) of Michigan; granddaughter, Lauren Skelly of Bothell, WA; and grandson, Grant Skelly of Bothell, WA. In lieu of traditional flowers, donations may be made in Dana Dodd's name to the Tunica Humane Society (http://www.tunicahumanesociety.com/).
