David DeBerry Obituary

David Thomas DeBerry, 86, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, in Hernando, Mississippi. He was born on September 4, 1938, in Hornsby, Tennessee to Theodore and Lavenia DeBerry. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Longview Point Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a service to immediately follow at 12:00p.m. David spent over 40 years in the hospitality industry before branching out into commercial real estate. He was a man of honor and integrity who always put his family first. David was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Rebecca Lynn DeBerry.He leaves behind his three children, Sharon DeBerry of Hernando, MS, Sheila Lea of Duck Hill, MS, and Keith DeBerry also of Hernando, MS; six grandchildren, James Lea, Anna Lea Brittian, Adam Lea, Daniel DeBerry, Hailey DeBerry, and Dalton DeBerry; and six great grandchildren. May the Lord bless him and welcome him home with open arms.
