Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch David Wayne Pierce, 48, of Byhalia, MS, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with the service to follow at 12:00 p.m., all at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch. The graveside service will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Olive Branch. David was born on October 31, 1976. He attended Crosslife Church in Byhalia, MS. David enjoyed being outside fishing, hunting, and mud riding on the side-by-side. He was a great father who loved his family and spending time with them. Anyone who knew David knew that he was witty and had a great sense of humor, but was also very blunt. You always knew how he felt. David had a big heart and was always quick to help someone in need. David is survived by his children, Zackery Pierce (Jennifer) of Newton, NC, Ashley Pierce of Mt. Vernon, IL, Dalton Pierce of Byhalia, MS, and Madelyn Pierce and Summer Pierce of Byhalia; mother, Anita Kay Baldwin of Oakland, MS; father, Jairie Theodore "Teddy" Pierce, Jr. of Byhalia; step-father, Elbert Baldwin of Oakland, MS; grandchildren, Jase, Mary, Maverick, Kolton, and Anthony, Jr.; sisters, Angela, Penny, Anita, Christina, and Jennifer; brothers, Aaron, Jerry Lee, Christopher, and Billy; wife, Elizabeth Pierce; and Tonya, mother of Zackery and Ashley.
