Max Smith Obituary

Obituary Max Myron Smith was born January 5, 1963, in Turrell, Arkansas, the son of Andrew Smith and Delois Green Smith. He accepted Christ into his life as a child, joining First Baptist Church of Joiner. Max was a graduate of Rivercrest High School Class of 1981. Following graduation, Max joined the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing chess and dominoes. Max was known for baking his famous cheesecakes. Throughout his life, Max built strong relationships within his community and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His warm personality and sense of humor made him a beloved friend to many. He would always say, "I do me, you do you". Max was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virginia Green, Sidney Anderson, and Pearlie Davis, and a beloved brother Andrae Smith. He transitioned from this life into a life of eternal rest on August 9, 2025, at the age of 62. Those left to cherish his precious memories are his parents, Andrew ( Mae) Smith of Joiner, Arkansas; Delois (Ernest) Morris also of Joiner, Arkansas; three brothers, Angelo Smith of Joiner, Arkansas; Michael ( Amamda) Smith of Jefferson City, Missouri; and Lawrence (Charlotte) Davis of Fulton, Missouri; two sisters, Lilly (Sam Black) Jackson of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Janet Smith of Memphis, Tennessee; a host of loving aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and his Madison, Wisconsin family and many friends.
