Timothy James Durham Sr.

Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven Timothy James Durham, Sr., 82, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, at his home in Walls, MS. A visitation will be held Friday, June 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the funeral service following at 12:00 p.m, at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven (626 Star Landing Road East Southaven, MS 38672). A graveside service will be held at Desoto Memorial Gardens (630 Star Landing Road East Southaven, MS 38672). Timothy Durham, III will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements. Tim, or "The Bee Man" as many around Walls affectionately knew him, was a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and a man of unwavering faith. He had a great sense of humor, a heart for service, and a deep love for his family. He found joy in the simple things-working in his yard, tending to his bees when he was able, and sharing laughs on trips with the senior adult group from Longview Heights Baptist Church, where he served faithfully as a deacon. Married to the love of his life, Shirley Durham, for 59 wonderful years, Tim often said she was the best part of every day. Together, they built a family grounded in love, laughter, and faith. Tim Sr., is survived by his wife Shirley Durham of Walls, MS; children, Tim Durham, Jr., and his wife Maxine of Southaven, Donnie Durham and his wife Tammye of Southaven, and Lori Philley and her husband David of Hernando, MS; and his grandchildren, Parker Durham, Carley Stroup and her husband James, Timothy Durham, III, Ann-McKeel Durham, Wyatt Philley, Kaitlyn Philley, and Kendell Philley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Camilla Weigel Durham.
