To: Olga & Family. I am sending you & yours "Condolences" from Erni & Iva up here in Nome. I remember Sandi very well when she used to "Run" the Polaris Hotel, Liquor Store, and Bar. She was always so "Friendly" with a "Big Smile" to everyone she met, to those from here in Nome, or else where. If my memory serves me right, she was a "Big" Fan & Supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team, as she had banners, etc. on her home windows in Bering View, of which she had painted outside and a wooden fence surrounding the house. She will be missed by a lot of Nomeite friends and villagers who stayed at the Hotel. Love to Olga,

I am so very very sorry to hear of Sandi's passing. I only met her once, a very long time ago in the Deli but I always enjoyed the stories that Jackie would tell me about her. Love and condolences to you all.
