Mrs. Piotrowski was my 1st grade teacher at Gower in 1958...I still have trouble spelling her name.
1969 my soon to be husband was friends (now husband of her daughter, Debra) and we realised that her Mom was my former teacher...small world!
But it gets smaller.....in 1978 we moved back to Willowbrook and my daughter, Melanie had her for 2nd grade! I was so excited because she was one of my favorite teachers.
So goes the circle of life. I'm sure her family has heard many stories like this but I just wanted to tell them my story.
May all of these memories bring you all comfort in her passing.

My sincere condolences to Betty's family. She and I were friends for over 60 years.
Betty and I were pals. We shared the same interests and often went to plays and events together throughout the years.
Everyone could count on Betty, her kindness was far reaching. Her commitment to helping people in our community, especially children was her mission.
No one was a better friend than my pal Betty.
