Carl W. Thompson

1953 - 2014

On Sep. 1, 2014 Carl Thompson died unexpectedly of natural causes at the remote family hunting property in the Mat-Su Borough. Carl was born and raised in Anchorage, AK and was currently living in Anchorage. Carl graduated from Dimond High in 1971 and from Multnomah Bible College in 1978. Carl worked for B&B Tool Supply, Youth for Christ, Arctic Missions, LS Associates, and Creekside Manor. Carl was actively involved in the ministry of Sand Lake Baptist Church and also attended ChangePoint. Carl is survived by his wife: Andrea Thompson; children: Beverly Semeraro, Tauni Jensen, Alan Thompson, John Thompson, Calvin Thompson, Steven Thompson, Heaven Thompson, and Kashtin Thompson; grandchildren: Eli Semeraro, Jacob Semeraro, Emery Jensen, Riley Jensen, Lyric Thompson, and Sebastian Kolean. Memorial Service will be 6 p.m., Monday Sep 8, at ChangePoint and will be officiated by Keith Lauwers.
