My deepest sympathy goes out to the Matthisen family. Jack helped me when I was coaching hockey. He and his wife raised son great children and had the joy of coaching Barry who was a teammate of my son. Jack was a great supporter and I will always remember the help and assistance he gave me. Jack will be missed

Jack was a special character indeed and never forgot his roots or those who helped him in his life. We always appreciated his visits, his quick smile and good humour. He will be missed by us all. We hope that the memories of good times with him, will grow ever stronger for you and your family in the days and years ahead. Thinking of you....

Hard to belive that 20 years has past since my trip to Anchorage. Jack is the reason that I am in the States working as an Electrician. I remember his trip to Montana with the new Motorhome, and the look on all the neighbors faces when he pulled up and parked up front. He will be missed . Will
