Corrine Phillips Obituary

Corrine Grace Phillips, 76, passed away on June 22, 2014, at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.

Corrine was born on November 25, 1937 in Holcombe, Wisconsin. She drove to Anchorage, Alaska from Oregon with her family in September of 1967.

Corrine is survived by her husband, Larry I. Phillips; children Cynthia (Jim) Goins, Larry O. (Anne) Phillips and Cathy Barney; grandchildren Phillip (Elizabeth) Epps, April Phillips, Crystal Bartee, Amanda (Christopher) Phillips, Larissa (Curtis) Phillips and Larry Phillips; great grandchildren Alexia, Nikita, Genesis, Rose, Marie, Mickey, Sarah, Lillian, Christie and Mackenzie; her aunt Doris Davis and many nieces and nephews.

Corrine always looked forward to the fall caribou and moose hunts along Seattle Creek on the Denali Highway. She loved hosting large holiday dinners and being surrounded by family whenever possible. Her family was her life.

The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life at a later date. Her ashes will be scattered in the caribou pastures near Seattle Creek on the Denali Highway.

Dear Larry and Phillips family. I fondly remember working with Corrine at her home. She was the bright spot in my day and her smile melted my heart. You all are in my thoughts and prayers ~ Sharon Speech Therapist

Larry and family, my thoughts and prayers are with your during your time of sorrow. Larry I remember the times that you and Corrine were at events together and Corrine was such a delight. Again, I offer my love, hugs and prayers.
