David Lee Peake

1975 - 2018

David Lee Peake, 43, born March 24, 1975, returned to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 8, 2018. He was grief stricken with the news of his grandmother in her last days and it caused a massive heart attack, taking his life. He died in the arms of his daughter, Hailey, and wife, Stephanie.
David was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his best friend and the woman of his dreams, Stephanie Aline Stewart. Together they had three children: Hailey, Aeva and Nicco. He led the life that most men aspired to. He was a loving devoted father, husband, brother and son. Even his employees at American Fast Freight, where he worked for more than 20 years, looked up to him. David was everything to everyone he knew. He enjoyed every minute of life. He was an avid fisherman to the core. He loved nothing more than fishing on the Russian River with his brothers, and fishing with his family any chance he got. He made life worth living for those closest to him.
David is survived by his wife, Stephanie; his daughters, Hailey and Aeva; his son, Nicco; his brothers, Robert, Peter, Brandon and Danny; his sisters, Lisa and Diana; his mother, Josephine; and stepfather, Bob. He is preceded in death by his father, Vernon Gomez Peake.
A public viewing will be held at the Legacy Funeral Homes Heritage Chapel, 440 East Klatt Road in Anchorage, Alaska, on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a Burial at 2 p.m. at the Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery, 535 East 9th Avenue.
