David Perez Obituary
A service will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. A visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Witzleben Legacy Funeral Home.
David was born Oct. 15, 1959, in Cuba. He came to Anchorage in 1992.
David was employed in the transportation industry in Anchorage for 10 years.
His hobbies were fishing, cooking, carpentry and science.
His family wrote: "During his 17 years of marriage, David proved to be an excellent husband and a loving, friendly, kind, faithful and honest person. His parents were always very special to him and he always kept them in mind. He loved to laugh and make others laugh with his jokes, and he was very respectful towards others. We will miss his great cooking. He will be remembered as a good son, brother and husband."
He is survived by wife, Carla Perez; parents, Armando and Hayde Perez; sisters and brothers-in-law, Miriam and Ruben Orozco, Libby and Carlos Lorenzo and Maria and Jorge San Roman; nephews, Charles, Michael, Joano Paulo, Rodrigo and Matheus; nieces, Celine, Raquel, Ana Paula and Camila; mother-in-law, Odete Corder; brothers-in-law, Luis and wife Elsa Corder, and Emillo and wife Maria Elisa Corder.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Alcides Corder.
Memorial donations may be made to Witzleben Legacy Funeral Home, 1707 S. Bragaw St., Anchorage 99508.
Arrangements are with Witzleben Legacy Funeral Home.

Familia Perez y Carla,
Sentimos mucho su perdida. Tenemos mucho tiempo sin ver a David pero siempre tuvimos buenos recuerdos de el y Tania Aballe nos mandaba a decir como estaban. Esperamos en Jehovah y oramos que les den las fuerzas y aguante en este momento dificil.

Fiquei muito triste em saber dessa notícia. Infelizmente nesse sistema que ainda vivemos estamos sujeitas a passar por esses momentos tão ruins, mas tenho certeza que nosso querido Deus Jeová está lhe dando aquela força alem do normal para suportar essa batalha. Dave Perez was a very interesting person to work with. Good fella, he says whats in is mind no matter what or who..and we admired him for that..he'll be missed. We will meet again soon.

I was very sadden to hear Mr. Perez pass away. He was very proud person of his family and the work he did. He was always very interested in what any one was saying. In training he was all eyes and listening to very word. He always had very good ideas and his own opinion.

Mrs. Dave Perez and Family,
Please accept my sympathy for the sudden loss of Dave. I remember his friendly and caring manner. Whenever I saw him he would always say hello and ask how I was doing. I hope and pray that Dave is at peace and with God.
I knew he was an AnchorRIDES driver for many years, and told that it had been 10 years. With this length of service, Dave showed a commitment to working with people with disabilities and elders. On a daily basis, Dave helped people with special needs get to vital services and live better lives throughout Anchorage. On behalf of the Anchorage Public Transportation Department, I thank Dave for his long-term service and send his family our condolences.
