In later years, she was director for the Hugh O'Brien Youth Foundation. She housed baseball players and sat on the Board of Directors for the Anchorage Bucs. Diane was dedicated to volunteering at Holy Family Cathedral and was on her Anchorage High School ('61) Reunion Committee where she loved keeping in touch with old friends. Aunt Diane although I didn't get to spend much time with you, you hold a very special place in my heart. Rest in peace.
Thanks for all the planning that went on to broadcast the funeral so we could be "there" if not in person at least in spirit.

Diane and I grew up in the same neighborhood. We could go for years without seeing one another and then, as though never a moment had passed, she was her charming beautiful self. Such a nice person.
