Doris will be greatly missed by the Botero Family. She was a kind and talented lady that we enjoyed visiting with. She is fully healed and younger than I in Heaven with the Lord.
Your family and friends will be in our prayers!

Doris led me to the Lord at age 14, and years later baked our only wedding cake as there were no eggs in Wainwright at the time. She conducted search and rescues with her plane and was a shrewd trader with her baseball cards! I feel the loss of an missionary era gone by; a time when nothing got done unless you did it yourself. Yet she found time to minister one on one with hurting youth. She was a true servant. May God's people so conduct themselves like her. Dottie, Chris, Dorrie and Janet, I love you all and our heartfelt prayers are with you all. I wish I could be there with you all.

Doris was the one that taught me to pray, at age 14. She baked our wedding cake (no eggs in Wainwright at the time), she helped in search and rescue efforts with her plane, she also was a shrewd trader in baseball cards!I feel a deep sadness of an era gone by; a missionary era where you had to do everything yoruself or it wouldn't get done--she was up to all the necessary tasks AND she found time to minister one-on-one with hurting people. She was a true servant; may all of God's people so conduct themselves like that. Dottie, Dorrie, Janet, Chris--may the comfort of the Holy Spirit be upon you and your families. She will never be forgotten.

G-d bless Doris' family at this time...I will miss talking and praying with Doris. She was a big part of my early years of stumbling along in my Christian life; encouraged me and kept reminding me that Jesus is coming soon. Praise the L-rd, He is coming soon! Love, Roni Barrett Selah, Washington

Doris was a wonderful woman. When she came to Wainwright she made a great impression in my life. She was here in Wainwright as a pastor of the Assembly of God and she had the teens night at the church which a bunch of us attended. She is one that gave me the impression how close and dependant she was with God. My condolences to Dottie, Allen, the kids and Lynne. You are all in my prayers. Heaven must be having a jubilee with her at home now. She must be playing a special guitar now. Zooming around in her angel wings. Love you all, Lucille A. Mayer
