I worked with Doug for many years at Alaska Airlines. He always greeted you with a smile, was the go to man if you had questions, just an all around beautiful human being. I am still saddened by his passing. REST IN PEACE.

I did not know Donald, but was friends with his niece Kirsten when we lived in Seattle back in the 70's. Carla was our soccer coach when we were little and I remember how family oriented they were. My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. Hold your memories close to your heart.

What a huge loss in the passing of Doug, especially to our Alaska Airlines Union Work-Force. Doug was an incredible asset to our Union, working his way up Contract Negotioator and District President. Doug always fought for job security, fair wages, fair treatment from management and safe working conditions...Although he mentioned he played 'a little College football', I didn't know he was THAT good...1st team Defensive tackle 4 years? Thats a feat 99% of college football players do not accomplish. But that's typical most people did not know this fact about Doug because he was unselfish and did not boast or brag about himself...Thank you Doug for your tireless efforts in trying to assure our job security. We all have a great job because of you. Im very thankful and grateful...Rest In peace my dear friend and my Union brother...
