Edward Motley Pinchbeck

1999 - 2016

Edward Motley Pinchbeck, age 17, from Anchorage, Alaska, made his transition on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Edward is so loved, he brightens up your heart with his laughter and his ingenious way of comforting and recognizing exactly what you need. Edward is a bright light in, not only his family's lives, but in the lives of his friends and his smile was quick to appear. He literally would give the shirt off his back. In his early years he would always be at his sisters' side and throughout his life he enjoyed skateboarding, basketball, snowboarding and perfecting breakdancing. He was given the nickname of Little Edward and he was so proud when he graduated to Big Edward. He joined the Boy Scouts, achieving the rank of Life Scout and attending the National Youth Leadership Training program. Edward loved a good time whether it be catching some rays on the beach or chillin' with his friends. He had a natural ease with numbers and had often talked about being an architect or an engineer. A visitation will take place on April 27, 2016, at Kehl's Legacy Funeral Home, located at 11621 Old Seward Highway in Anchorage, from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place on April 28, 2016, at Alaska Center for Spiritual Living, located at 929 East 81st Avenue (behind Black Elk Leather), at 3 p.m. If light is in your heart, you will find your way home - Rumi
