I have few memories of my parents siblings and family visits. However, I do remember Uncle Frank and Aunt Bernice coming down to visit my parents Al and Mary Monis. My wife convinced me to start looking into our family genealogy since I have all our family photos. I just found out about Uncle Franks passing and happened to run across a couple of great photos with Uncle Frank in them. My sincere condolences.

I had just heard that our dear Uncle Frank had passed away while I was out of the country. He was the life of the party, the light of our lives, and the rock of his family. We didn't see him often but when we did it was as though he kept us in his heart during the absence and no time had passed. He adored his family and was so proud of his sons and grandchildren. He showered all of us nieces and nephews with his magic. To Frank, Tony and Jerry, he was an example to us all of a life well lived. I loved him dearly.

Frank Butto was a fantastic example. He was full of love and joy, and always ready with a compliment for everyone. He loved to sing - and did so frequently. He was my next door neighbor and best friend for the past 8 years. He deeply loved Alaska, and was an amazing gardener. He spent countless hours making his yard and home as beautiful as possible. He was a generous host. His energy was contagious. He lived life to the fullest.

My sincere condolences. May our heavenly Father, the God of all comfort sustain you at this time of such great loss 2Thessalonians 2:16, 17.

There are so many lovely memories of a next door neighbor. Frank and Bernice inviting our daughter over for cookies in thier gorgeous backyard, Frank and his Halloween costumes and always a smile on his face. It was a pleasure to have shared moments of his life.
