Her generous and loving heart made it easy to love her. Although she enjoyed being at home, the number of lives touched by her giving spirit and loving nature is too great to count. She will be greatly missed here on earth, but will be a true gift to all she loved as an angel in heaven."

Survivors include her sons, Shannon Hoffman and Steven Westfall Sr., both of Anchorage; daughter-in-law, Seth Marie Westfall of Anchorage; granddaughter, Cayla Westfall of Anchorage; grandsons, Steven Westfall Jr., Keone Westfall and Kei Westfall, all of Anchorage.

Memorial Donations: In lieu of flowers, the family request that in accordance with Ida's wishes, contributions be made to the college fund of her four grandchildren.

To the Westfall family, My heart goes out to all of you for your loss of your mother, grandmother-and Friend. She will live on in your hearts and in your memories forever and no one can take that away from you. Her journey here on earth is over but the lessons she has passed on to you all will always be just a thought away.
I'm so sorry for your untimely loss, I know not getting to say "good bye" is hard but know she knew you loved her each and every day you were with her. Make sure you take time to breath and drink plenty of water. Love to the family. The Copes

Steven and Seth, Cayla, Steven, Keone and Kei,

Your Mother and Grandma welcomed everyone into her home with kindness and friendship. I was so lucky to have had the opportunity to meet her on my trip to Alaska. In this difficult time let her memory be "the wind beneath your wings " and let it "raise you to stand on mountains" . She will be with you in all you accomplish.

Love,

Betsy

I worked with Ida for a number of years at W&DY - what a special lady she was. I know she will be truly missed but I rejoice in knowing I will see her again someday.

Ida was always so friendly and "welcoming", she will be greatly missed, from Bryan, Kenna-Sue, Megan, Joshua and Sally, we pray for you and your family. To Cayla, the "kind, loving" young lady you are, is partly due from the "love and guidance" your grandma Ida gave you!
