Jack Ference Obituary
A private service is planned.
Jack was born Oct. 20, 1918, in San Mateo, Calif. Raised in Chico, Calif., he attended Chico State College.
After serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, he completed his education, graduating from the University of California, Berkeley.
Jack worked as director of finance for a number of cities in California, moving to Cordova in 1982 to serve as finance director.
Jack retired in 1988.
He leaves his wife, Georgene; son, John; daughters, Debra and Paula; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Elois.
He was preceded in death by his son, Mark.
