Jake Becker Obituary

Jake and Norma Jean Becker are nolonger with us. They were long-time residents of Anchorage, Alaska, and had recently spent the last 15 years in Bouse, Ariz. Jake passed away on Nov. 23, 2015, and Norma had passed on Nov. 2, 2009. Jake went quietly, while sleeping on the couch in the front room. He had been sick with what he thought was the flu the night before, but when friends checked on him the next morning he could not be woken up. Norma had cancer for some years and passed away in her sleep on Nov. 2, 2009. Jake and Norma had moved around some during their retirement years. They enjoyed Anchorage and then moved to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, before moving to Middleton, Idaho, to care for Grandma Faye Weaver. After Grandma Faye passed away, they moved to 15 acres near Bouse, Ariz., where Jake bought a 1952 Cesna 170B and flew it off the airstrip he had built in his backyard. They left behind many good friends and relatives and they will surely be missed. A memorial service will be held in the coming months in Middleton, Idaho, in the same cemetery that our grandparents, Ken and Faye Weaver, are buried.
