Kenneth Hartman Obituary
A celebration of life will be held for Ken at noon on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at 3201 Spenard Road in Anchorage.
Kenneth was born on Dec. 20, 1968, in Wenatchee, Wash., to Ken and Freida Hartman. After graduating high school in 1986, Ken joined the U.S. Navy and served with distinction for four years. He and his family moved north to Alaska in 1990.
In his time in Alaska, Mr. Hartman lived in and worked in Cordova and Anchorage. Once in Anchorage, he was able to establish his own home base business, which he ran with his wife till the day of his passing.
Ken enjoyed being outdoors, absorbing all that his adopted home had to offer, taking trips to the shooting range and watching his Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
His family has said that Ken was, "an incredible, generous man. He always had a nickname for everyone. He had an amazing sense of humor. Everyone who met him, kids and animals included, loved him so much."
Kenneth is preceded in death by his mother and father, Freida and Ken Hartman.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jayne Hartman of Anchorage; sons, Mickey and Kurt Hartman; granddaughters, Kayleigh and Ariel; grandson, Mickey; many vary close friends and family of the heart.
