Laura Gundersen Obituary
Laura was born in Kodiak, Alaska on October 12, 1955.
Laura was a devoted worshipper and belonged to the Nativity of Theotokas Russian Othodox Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, shopping, butterflies, diamonds and shoes.
Laura is survived by her husband, Reggie Gundersen Jr. (Corky); children, Wendy Bartleson, Pamela Gundersen, Dwayne Gundersen (Boy); grandchildren, Andre Lind (Honeyboy), Randle, Tia and Derek Bartleson, Gavin Gundersen (Rocket); siblings, Debbie VonScheele, Father Alexei Knagin, Becky Serjeant, Robert Knagin, Susan Boskofsky and several nieces and nephews.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Rhea and Harry Knagin; her son, Don Oscar Lind and her sister, Valarie Boskofsky (Shookie).
"Laura loved her family and always put them first. She had a passion for butterflies, diamonds, nice cars, shopping, bingo and making her family feel loved. She will be remembered by her loving kindness and crazy sense of humor."
Services will be held Thursday, September 19, 2013, 1:00 p.m. in Port Lions, Alaska.
