Linda Biederman Obituary

Linda Lucille Biederman, born in Anchorage, Alaska, went to her heavenly home on May 2, 2018, after a valiant battle with cancer. Linda was the daughter of Bill and Doris Biederman of Anchorage, and she attended elementary school at Lake Otis Elementary through the fourth grade. From fifth grade through 12th grade, Linda attended school in Soldotna and Kenai, Alaska, with the exception of 11th grade at East High in Anchorage. In Soldotna, she homesteaded on Kalifonsky Beach Road with her mom, Bob Schmidt, and eight siblings. She spent several years in the fishing industry.
Linda earned an accounting degree in Anchorage, and later a Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She pursued doctoral studies and completed all requirements minus the final dissertation. Linda worked at British Petroleum in Anchorage and later as an intern on Wall Street, where she landed a job at Prudential working as a financial analyst for mergers and acquisitions. She worked in the East for 10 years then returned to the Pacific Northwest following 9/11.
Linda is survived by eight siblings: Gayle Ross (Rick) of Kenai, Alaska; Vicki Sharp (Larry) of Seattle, Wash.; Jim Biederman of Fox Island, Wash.; Paul Biederman (Jenny) of Anchorage; Armin Schmidt of Kenai, Alaska; Dan Schmidt (Grace) of Antioch, Calif.; Jana Powell (Steve) of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; and Cheryl Johnson (Mike) of Fairfield, Calif. A myriad of nieces and nephews will greatly miss their Aunt Linda.
Contributions to one of Linda's favorite charities may be sent to: Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Pkwy, Charlotte NC 28201; https://billygraham.org/give/give-online/.
Condolences may be sent to Vicki Sharp by postal mail, 5855 NE Parkpoint Dr., Seattle, WA 98115; or email, [email protected]. A service is being planned in the Seattle area on Memorial Day weekend, 2019.

She can now see that which we long for. Oh to look on the face of Jesus and fall at His feet!

Condolences to Dr. Paul and his family. I was a patient for 20+ years - early on in his career. I left AK several years ago to move closer to my aging father. We buried him this week and I know he is with his heavenly father as is Linda however there are still many tears amid the memories and gladness that he is home. God bless you in your grief.
