Linda Sherrill Obituary
A celebration of life will be arranged at a later date.
Linda was born in Belleville, Illinois on June 30, 1951 to Wayne and Betty Thompson. The family then moved to Portland, Oregon before settling down in Anchorage in 1968. She met her husband, Wes Sherrill, fell in love and was married for 34 years. They moved to Moose Pass in 1981, were they owned and operated the Moose Pass Inn. This was the place where she filled the stomachs, and warmed the hearts, of many people who came through their door. Linda enjoyed life and friends. She could light up a room with her smile and humor. She loved the simple things in life such as, feeding the birds, taking care of her flowers, and most of all, spending time with her family. Linda was also very passionate about slowing the traffic down, to the speed limit in Moose Pass, for the safety of her community. After she found the Lord, Linda was a long time member of the Moose Pass Community Church. She enjoyed the fellowship and worship that she shared with her Christian brothers and sisters.
Linda is survived by her husband, Wes Sherrill; her three children, Wesley, Troy and Willow; son in law, Tripp; grandsons, Clarence and Harry; mother, Betty; and siblings, Greg, Shelia, and Jeff.

loved and thought of prayers to the family left behind!!! As those of you who were blessed to have known this beautiful woman, she suffered in health but rejoiced in life! My husband and I couldn't believe this dear child could remember us as much pain and suffering she was going through she thought of us and you knew she was full of life and love that just spread like wild fireweed (LOL) We LOVE AND MISS YOU Linda!!!!!!! thinking of you and your family xoxox

My Linda was to me a sister, friend and the most beautiful person I have ever meant in my whole life. The love, compassion and understanding just flowed from her spirit to everyone she loved and met. I know of no one who will ever be able to fill her space in my heart. When I came to Alaska and seen how she loved to mess with the speeder's in front of the house I was very tempted to buy her a fake radar gun but knew that it would definately get her into trouble. I would of been right beside her with mine to egg thing's along. : }!!!
Linda was a beautiful child of the Lord Jesus Christ. You could see His love and protection all around her and in her.

RIP Linda. When growing up, LInda was the "COOL" big sister. Sheila and I had a blast when she would let us spend the night. I'm sad to hear of this loss. I'll be stopping at Moose Pass this summer with my boys. Can't imagine walking in and not having Linda to chat with. Best wishes to Wes and their family. Aloha to Sheila, Greg, Jeff and Mom Thompson.
