To Lisa's Family--
I don't even know where to begin. All I can say is that I feel very priviledged to have known such a wonderful person. She was thoughtful, kind, caring and had a strong will. My only regret is that I didn't get to spend more time with her after moving so far away. I'm glad I got to spend that brief time with her the month of Crystal and Jubal's wedding. I truly hoped that would not be last time that I saw her. I will miss her terribly.
My thoughts and prayers go out to your family in this time and I know you will all one day see her again, even more beautiful and strong than she already was.
I love you all.

To Nelly and our family. I am so sad that our Lisa is gone. We are happy she is no longer in pain, but she is missed and her laugh is something I long to hear again. I can't wait to see her healthy, crackin' jokes and getting her up to date on everything that happened after she went to sleep. She sure was one tough lady. Keep Jehovah first, I will too. I made her a promise and I intend to keep it as best I can. We send our love, our prayers, our thoughts..... Love to you all.

Dearest Crystal, Richard and Nelson, I just learned about Lisa losing her brave battle yesterday. Anyone else would have been gone a long time ago but she had a will to live and enjoyed life even through all her pain and suffering. As was mentioned, you couldn't talk to her without her mentioning the truth and praising Jehovah. If Paul were here he would say "she's in Jehovah's capable hands" and how we long to have them both back with us again under much better circumstances and forever!! May he comfort and strengthen you. Micah 7:7. Warmest Love, Alice

Nelson we are so sorry to hear of the loss of Lisa. We know that she will be missed by all. Just as Martha said about Lazarus "I Know He Will Rise In The Last Day." so can we have the confidence that Jehovah has will bring our loved ones back. What a comforting hope in our time of distress. May you keep close to Jehovah and the brothers to keep you going during this difficult time.

Lisa had a vibrance that was unmatched and very contagious. She loved life and Jehovah and she glowed with it. I only knew her very little, but will never forget her. My thoughts and prayers are with her whole family and the other people so privileged to know her.

Nelson, I was sorry to hear that Lisa lost her battle. You always seemed so proud of her "fight". It is and will always be an inspiration to others to hear it. Take care of yourself and your family.

Lisa showed me great kindness during the five years I lived in Anchorage. She always had a smile and an encouraging word, and a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh out loud. It was a privilege to know Lisa and to share with her the worship of our God, Jehovah. I look forward to seeing her again, and spending time together. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with her family.

May God bring peace and strength to her husband, children and parents...during this difficult time.
My sister was always putting others needs above her own, she was selfless, caring and loving to everyone she came into contact with. I hated seeing her suffer for so long, but she had this unbelievable strength as she reached out to others. Lisa didn’t focus on her, and found a way to contribute to others, no matter what life brought her way.
I will miss her loyalty, her smile, her encouragement, her friendship, and her love she easily gave. One day, we will be together again…

Bruce Family:
May God bring peace and strength during this difficult time.
My sister was always worrying about everyone else's needs before her own. She was selfless and loving to everyone she knew. I hated seeing her suffer for so long, but she had this unbelievable strength as she reached out to others. Lisa didn't complain of her condition...but only to use it to continue sharing with others.
I will miss her loyalty, her friendship, and her love she easily gave. My sister...my Lisa, I know we will be together again...
