Marcy Coman Obituary

Marcy Joan Coman, 49, died June 13, 2009, at Anchorage Native Medical Center in Anchorage. A three-day potluck will begin June 19 at the community hall in Northway. A burial service is scheduled for 4 p.m. June 19. Her family wrote: "Marcy was born to "Buzzy" Donald and Janet Young in Fairbanks on June 6, 1960. She loved to live and lived to love. The mother of nine children, she loved to love and laugh and thoroughly enjoyed life. "Marcy took white wings Saturday afternoon on June 13, 2009. As she flew to heaven she circled around her hospital room and smiled at her loving family by her side and her family across the state. She so appreciated her sweet final months with all her children. "As she soared on high she could see her loving family who she will see again someday, her husband Perry Coman and their nine children Trina, Aaron and Emmalie Coman, Jessie, Cody, Levi, Kirby, Sammy, Madison and Toby "The higher she soared she could see her father Donald "Buzzy" Young of Fairbanks who is visiting her younger brother Ken Young in North Carolina. And then she winked at her mother Janet Eubanks of Chehalis, Wash., and her older brother Mike Young of Fairbanks. "Marcy finally found her final home in Northway as being the best place on the planet. They accepted her with open arms and she was adopted by the clan. She could be seen making a low swooping pass on her flight and a white feather of love fell from her wings and landed on that marvelous Dene community who she believed are the Lost Tribe of Dan hence the ancient Denali namesake. "She had one last swoop to tip her white wings goodbye to the Frank & Dolly Young clan of Fairbanks and the Millar clan of Anchorage."

Dear Janet,
Gentle thoughts are with you and Buzz and each member of your precious family. At times like this, words seem so powerless to express the thoughts this message is intended to bring. Still, perhaps you will know the heartfelt sympathy that comes to each of you today.
