MERLE WEITZ Obituary
On Saturday, August 27, 2016. Beloved wife of Alan Weitz; devoted mother of Jonathan (Gail) Weitz, Melissa (Neil) Chonofsky and David (Judith) Weitz; sister of Florence (late Donald) Rosenthal, Thelma (Art) Finkelstein, Bernie (late Susan) Dickter and Morris (Eleanor) Dickter; loving grandma of Julianna, Haley and Josh; also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Merle worked for the Squirrel Hill Urban Coalition for over 30 years. Services at RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Monday at 11 a.m. Visitation one hour prior to services (10-11 a.m.) Interment Homewood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
