Patricia Spivey Obituary
Pat was a member of Sunset Hills Baptist Church. She loved music and was an avid pianist and organist. She also loved reading, cross stitch and crochet.
"Pat was a loving wife to her husband of 44 years and a loving mother to all of her children, including many family pets. She loved the Lord and found comfort in her faith until the very end. We will miss her always. "
Pat is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joel Spivey of Anchorage; daughters, Pam Spivey of Knoxville, Tennessee and Lynn Spivey of Anchorage; son, Derrell Spivey of Beaufort, South Carolina; brother, Kenneth Hood Sr. of Columbus, Georgia; sister-in-law, Doreen Hood of Bunn, North Carolina; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two furry children and one grand-cat.
Pat was preceded in death by her mother, father and a brother.
Services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Hills Baptist Church. Pastor Don Shannon will be officiating. Burial will take place at Ft. Richardson National Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Kehl's Legacy Funeral Home.

Mom, thanks for being such a wonderful and loving mother and friend. The greatest thing that you ever taught me, was to be strong in your faith and never let it fail. I will miss you lots and lots, but I will also be waiting until that day when I will see you again. I love you mom!
