Aloha Dalzell Family--- We recall Bob's kindness and help for Hilltop Youth whenever a need arose. He will be in prayers for the repose of his soul and family for comfort to deal with your loss.

I, too, knew Bob from Chugach Electric. And yes, he always had a smile and was a very kind person. My condolences to the family.

Bob was a key figure in the development and growth of Hilltop Youth, Inc. Hilltop offered a number of recreational outlets for the youth of South Anchorage long before services from the City became available and eventually developed and managed Hilltop Ski Area. His contributions continued long after his own children were grown. We will always remember that when the Army surplus engine that powered the original rope tow on Abbott Road and Hillside Drive finally conked out for good, Bill found a company willing to donate an electric engine and completed the installation of it. Had it not been for his efforts, Hilltop Ski Area would have become a thing of the distant past.
