Robert Krevitz Obituary
Robert served in the United States Marine Corp in San Diego, Calif., where he met his bride, Barbara. Robert moved his young family to Alaska in 1968, taking a civil service position on Elmendorf Air Force Base, where he worked until his retirement in 1995; he retired as the Chief of Operations for the 5099th Civil Engineering Squadron. His team left many imprints on the face of Alaska to include roads, hangars, runways and buildings. Robert was proud of his service; however, his true love was family, friends, and the Alaska wilderness.
Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Rachael, Cathy, David and Karen; his grandchildren, Annaleigha and Megan; his great-grandchildren, Kalee, Hudson, Shepard and Graham; and his great-great-grandson, Alexander.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the Legacy Heritage Chapel at Angelus, 440 East Klatt Road in Anchorage, Alaska, with burial to follow. The service will be officiated by Chaplin Joe Goodman. Robert's Celebration of Life will be held in his family home the same day. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Pleases accept my sincerest condolences for your loss. I know that it will take a very long time to even begin a recovery from such a loss. I know that each of you can take comfort in knowing that you have each other about in knowing that you have the support of friends whenever you need anything.
The Robert I knew was a wonderful husband, father, and a respected boss. He was also kind, honest, compassionate, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Robert Krevitz was a wonderful person whose spirit will live forever.
