Mrs. Ivanoff, Terry and Steve I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Ronnie and your loss. I remember the first time I met Ronnie; It was 1970 and I had recently moved to Duxbury and had not met anyone except my neighbor Lynn Squillacote. I was fishing down at Hunt's Pond one day when he comes roaring up on his bike and stops and says "Hey you must be the new kid that Lynn told me about" and with a sly smerk he says "you know there's nothing decent worth catching in there your wasting your time". From that day on we soon became the best of friends even though I was a couple of years ahead of him in the ninth grade and he being in middle school still. I was so grateful to become friends with someone so cool, being the new kid in town it was not easy for me. But Ron was so warm and friendly and never pretentious and he made it so easy to be his friend. Over the next seven years we had many adventures together mostly good and others that did not turn out so well for us like a little trip up to New Hampshire in his new car in 74. At the end of the summer of 77 I joined the army and eventually settled down in Washington. On occasion I would see him when I made trips back east to visit my parents or when he came through my neck of the woods on his way up to Kodiak. One time I came home to find a big old RV parked out by my barn with someone under it working. Boy was I surprised when Ron came crawling out from under it. That must have been in the mid 90's cause my kids were still little. That I believe was the last time I ever saw Ron and I have been wondering about him ever since. That's what brought me here, searching for Ronnie and now I am so sad to the point of tears to know what I now know...that I will never see his smile or hear his voice again. Love you my friend...R.I.P.

I only saw Ronnie off and on over the years, as my air Force family and I always lived in different places -- and often far away. But I remember him as a friendly, kind-hearted nephew, and I will miss him. Love and prayers to his mom, brothers and all the rest of his family.

Dianne, Linda let me know this morning. I am so sorry for you and your family. Ronnie was a huge part of my youth and I have thought of him many times thru the years always hoping that i would see him again one day. I will never forget him, i can still visualize that crooked smile of his11 we who knew him well understood what a sence of humor was behind it.What a handsome boy he was I can see him as clearly as if it was only yesterday. My son was a terror just like Ronnie. Call me if you like 508-746-8195. Love, Lynn Quintal (Squillacote) Hugs....
