Dear Brenda, Bill, Chandra and Scott,
I was so shocked when my mom forwarded the emails about Ronnie to me, here in Africa. I know I was very young when you moved from the Citrus Heights neighborhood, but the fun times our families shared together have stayed with me. It is difficult for me to fathom such a loss. My thoughts are with you all as you continue to deal with the pain of this huge loss.

All my love,
Joy (Weller) Hoffman

Brenda, Bill, and all of Ronnie's family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I haven't seen Ronnie since childhood, but I remember him as a kind friend who I always looked up to. My sisters and I spent a lot of time playing with Ronnie, Chandra and Scott before they moved to Southern California. I regret losing contact. Your family meant a lot to us when we were young. It's heartening to read what a decent man he turned out to be.

Dave and I have been blessed to have Ron in our lives. He is woven in every fiber of our lives and he will always be a part of our lives from here on out.

When I begin to get upset about his passing I remember our infamous trip to Arctic Man when Ron joined us girls sunbathing (in his BVD) on a mountain or the great time we had on our Tok to Dawson trip. He was always the life of the party while being a perfect gentleman.

Ron, you will always be with us and we will always love you.

Sincerely,
Dana and Dave Kapla

Bill,Brenda,Chandra & Scott...

It is with a very heavy heart that i send our condolences, I just find it so hard to believe. Ronnie was always a very special boy here on Evening Way. I remember that playful, happy and fun little boy, and than the year Glen and i went to Alaska and spent the 4th of July with him at your cabin he and his wife make us feel so welcome we played on the lake and i keep waiting for to get dark, Ronnie went into the middle of the lake and set off firecrackers the first time ever that it was after midnight and it was still daylight. Ronnie and his wife were so wonderful to us. I am so so very sorry. Your family are in our prayers .

I met Ronnie Allen in Eugene, Oregon when he was down to visit Josh and Rebecca. I had just opened up a small bakery behind Clay Space, and Ronnie stopped by our kitchen for a few hours and just hung out with us while Josh was busy next door. Rebecca was in there with us and we were making pie dough or pizza dough, anyway, he was just chatting with us while we worked. Felt like I'd always known him. Like the feeling a person get's when they are in the presence of someone special. Someone great. He was proud of his family and he showed us pictures. And I thought it great to see how proud he was of Josh.

Bill, Brenda, Chandra, and Scott- It has been so many years since I have seen you all. Our last visit was to you in Bakersfield (or Riverside, Ca). Ronnie has always held a special place in my heart as do your entire family. You were special friends and neighbors. Ronnie had a wonderful spirit, was compassionate and it was always a joy to be in his company. I am so very sorry for your grief and so happy you had such a great son. Dear Brenda and Bill,
You have been in our thoughts daily and we know what you are going thru. We too lost a child and it seems like the most unfair event that can happen in your lives. It is, plain and simple.
Although it doesn't seem like it now, time will soften the jagged edges of sorrow and sweet memories will take the place of tears.
We want you to know that we think of both and we are sending our love your way....

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. It's comforting to know that God cares for all of us. The Bible gives us hope that one day we can see our loved ones again. On behalf of all mankind Jesus surrendered his soul. John 15:13 says “No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his soul on behalf of his friends.” Truly I am sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one and I hope these few words will bring you comfort and hope.

To the Allen Family & friends
I first met Ronnie threw some of his closest friends and later worked with him on occasion on a professional level.
His character was infectious and one you instantly liked. Always had a smile on his face and genuinely welcomed you whenever you’d see him. It was definitely a privilege knowing Ronnie.
He will be greatly missed by many.

Bill and Brenda
I was truly shocked and saddened to read of Ronnie's passing. Although I saw him seldom, he always had a smile and a cheerful word for me when we met. No one can ever experience the pain that you are feeling now but I can say that I know the feeling of losing a child and it is a sadness like no other. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Somehow, I can just see Ronnie, Dill and my son Chuck all having a "shooter" together in heaven and looking down on us telling us ro hold onto the happy memories.
