I was so saddened to hear of Teresa's passing. I met Teresa almost 20 years ago on a bicycling trip through the hills of Tuscany, Italy. There were 25 people on the trip. She was by far the brightest light of all of us. She was engaging, funny, intelligent, intellectually curious, assertive and a strong cyclist. A few of us got to eat some delicious meals at very small restaurants in small towns along the cycling route because Tess spontaneously decided that restaurant was where we were going to eat and she convinced the owner to allow us to sit in the restaurant in our cycling attire. Only she was capable of pulling off such a feat. Later she visited a few of us in NYC, my home at the time, and invited us to Montana and Alaska. I never took her up on the offer to my chagrin. But I always treasured the Christmas cards with the photos of her three sons. God bless you Tess. You will be missed. The world needs more people like you.

Teresa will never be forgotten, I will always remember her thoughtful and kind ways. Teresa made the world a better place, a gentle and caring lady. I believe that Teresa is at peace, cradled in the hands of God. She will be missed but never forgotten.

The world has lost such a wonderful person. Tess, my college roommate, brought such energy and joy to my life. I will never forget the awesome dinners she used to cook for us, the bravery she showed when we designated her as our rental house mouse exterminator', and her ability to excel academically while still having a robust college social life. Many nights were spent laughing with Tess. She inspired me with her fierce independence, and she was loved. Rest in peace my dear friend. My heart breaks for you and your family.

I went to college with Tess. We met under funny and unusual circumstances (she accidentally kicked a chair into me). We didn't become friends until we saw each other again months later at a party (when a mutual friend was about to introduce us, then realized we knew each other; when she asked, Tess and I looked at each other and started cracking up). Tess was a funny, warm, caring person, and a very good friend of mine in college. We lost touch after that, and I wish I had been better at keeping in touch when we re-connected on Facebook several years ago. My condolences to her family and other friends.

I'm very sorry to learn of Tess's passing. I am one of her retired co-workers in Montana. She was one of the bright lights in our district. I told her that I was going to take a train to Alaska some day to see her. I'm sorry I never made it.

Having a sister is one of the greatest treasures, one you shouldn't take for granted. There are so many wonderful things that flow from a relationship with a sister. They will laugh with you, cry with you, make fun of you, embarrass you, annoy you, and love you. And that is what sisters are for.
In loving memory of my sister Teresa.

This is so heartbreaking to see Teresa go so early. The other day, while out on a long distance run, I saw a lavender light above the Front Range and imagined that it was Teresa looking over us all in peace. And wishing those left behind the same.
