William Granger Obituary

Bill was born to Robert and Eunice Granger of Lumni Island, Washington. He lost his battle with cancer. He died at home in with his family in attendance. Tuna made his career driving truck for Crowley Petroleum, Service Oil and Gas, Alaska West, Sourdough Freight, and Bishop Trucking. He was a true Alaskan spending time snowmachining, flying, hunting, fishing, and trapping. Tuna came to Glennallen, Alaska, in 1975, where he made his home. He is survived by his wife, Colleen, son, Joshua, daughter, April; and his two "lights of his life" grandsons: Jaxon and Tucker. His ashes will be spread amongst his happy hunting grounds. The deceased requested no services to be held.

Coleen and family,
DJ and I were saddened to hear of Tuna's passing and want u to know we are thinking of you. DJ has been reminiscing of the many loads they hauled ....one going one way and one the other many times, but that radio let them have lots of chatter time. God bless you and all the family. Know Tuna will be missed by his family and friends, but try to find some comfort in knowing he is no longer fighting that battle that he was. Take care,
DJ and Stanna

It's been said that people only die when we forget them. Tuna shared adventures with many people so he will never truly be gone. Oorah! See ya on the next trail!
