Aunt Wilma and Uncle Larry are the kindest and the most wonderful persons that I have ever met. They devoted their lives to helping others and asked that to those that they helped to simply " to pass it on". Their gifts have been magnified many times over. The world is diminished by their passing. It is a comfort to know that they are together again. The world will miss them as well. My family will miss them also.

Agnes and I send our heartfelt condolences to all the Carr family at the loss of Wilma. She followed Larry a lot faster than expected. So sorry we are not in Anchorage for her final farewell. May the consolation of God be with you all knowing that this great lady is at peace and re-united with her beloved hisband. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

In 1985, when I was only nineteen, I began working for the Carr's. They have always treated me like family. Mrs. Carr has always been gracious with her words, giving me advice as she watched my family and I grow. What the Carr's didn't know is that I learned respect, business integrity, and quality of life by just watching them... And I was only their gardener.
They will be missed.

I am so very sorry that Wilma Carr is no longer living and I pray that her entire family down here on earth will take comfort in their many wonderful memories and the knowledge that she contributed much love and caring while she was on this earth. May we rejoice that she is now reunited with her Larry and Brian and all the loved ones who had departed before her and welcomed her into Heaven. May God be with you all as you grieve the loss of her presence here.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the recent death of Wilma Carr. Mrs. Carr and her late husband Larry have been friends and benefactors of Catholic Social Services (CSS) since our founding in 1966.
Throughout Catholic Social Services' 46-year history the Carr family has consistently asked, “How can we help?” They have supported nearly all of the agency's initiatives from capital to operational needs. Their outstanding support of CSS throughout the years exemplified their heartfelt concern for the poor.
Last spring, our largest annual fundraiser, Charity Ball, was renamed the Wilma Carr Charity Ball to honor Mrs. Carr's steadfast support of this event and her life-long commitment to helping those in need.
