Anthony Devitt Obituary
Anthony Paul Devitt, 31, of Alamogordo, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010, at his home. He was born Jan. 23, 1979, in Alamogordo to David Devitt and Martha (Devitt) Brock.
Anthony worked many years in the pizza business and was always a hard worker and conscientious employee. He had a great love for animals and a compassionate spirit. He loved keeping up with the NASCAR races and was proud to be the uncle of his two nephews.
He is survived by his father, David Devitt, of Portland, Tenn., formerly of Alamogordo; his mother, Martha Brock, and stepdad Leon Brock, of Tularosa; his sister Catrina Devitt, of Albuquerque; grandmother Gene Devitt, of Roswell; brother-in-law Sean Pass, of Portland, Tenn.; nephews Hunter Pass and Keaston Devitt, of Portland, Tenn., as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. His special four-legged friend, LOBO, was his constant companion.
He was preceded in death by his little sister Rae Lynn Devitt.
A memorial service and celebration of his life will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010, in the Alamogordo Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Billy Tucker officiating. Following the service, a noon meal will be provided by the Trinity Baptist Church in High Rolls. All are invited to attend.
Should friends desire, contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
Anthony, I know you are finally at rest from all your pain, and we love you.

Tony, I will always remeber the times we shared while at Papa John's. You were a great employee, worker, friend, and most of all person. I am deeply saddened to here of your passing but I know you are in a different place. R.I.P brother!
