I did not know Bonnie Luisa Garcia but from what I read she definitely has Christ-like qualities which is what our Heavenly Father requests of us. I truly hope God has her in his book of remembrance.. 1 John 2:17 NWT

The funniest memory for me was when she was going into surgery, she asked the anesthesiologist and the surgeon if they were single. When I got in to see her she asked me if I had seen the doctors because they were cute AND SINGLE! Lol. I asked her if she was trying to set me up? She said ummm huh.....yes! Lol I will miss you dearly Tia...love you!!

I will always remember the laughter and the tears I shared with Bonnie Garcia. Although she worked "for me," I always told her we "worked together. " She was loyal to a fault and loved, loved, her family.
I will never forget the day I hired her as my secretary at Yucca Elementary. She was smart, motivated, a great writer and editor, and more than anything incredibly funny. Later, she shared her surprise at being offered the job because she thought I was "too much of a cheerleader" to even consider hiring someone like her! We both laughed about it through the years. I will say this, hiring Bonnie was the best decision I ever made. She followed me to central office and continued to be a great support.
After I left Alamogordo, we always found time to talk to one another about school and family. I will miss her laughter and her friendship. Sending my love to the family as I know your loss is great. I pray you will find strength in her memory and in all of the blessings she shared with others. She was a blessing to me in many, many ways. Thank you for sharing her with me!
