Caron Tinguely Obituary


Caron Crane Tinguely of Alamogordo, N.M., passed away Jan. 31, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Velmoyce Betty Tucker and Robert (Bob) Tucker a country western and recording artist.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Tinguely and nine step children; cousins Bob and Betty Tucker of Midland, Gary and Helen Tucker of Angle Fire and Don Tucker of Federal Way, Wash.

Caron was preceded in death by a sister Betty Bob.

Caron was born March 11, 1944. She graduated from Clovis High School in 1962 and Eastern NM University in 1966. She was an honor student and received two Master's degrees in Special Education. She taught school in Roswell, Hondo and Ruidoso, N.M., for 23 years then retired and moved to Bent, N.M., then on to Alamogordo, N.M. She thought of her students as her children. She loved all animals but had a deep compassion for her horses and lamas and especially for her dogs that she also considered her children.

On Saturday, March 12, 2016, family and friend are invited for visitations in Ruidoso at the La Quinta at 11:30 a.m., followed by memorial services at 1 p.m., at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruidoso, officiating by Pastor John Marshall of Calvary Chapel Ruidoso.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Ruidoso Humane Society at 442 Gavilan Canyon Rd, Ruidoso, NM 88345.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
